Light Blocking Strips for Window Frame L Shape 60inch, 78inch, 118 inch size 2PCS

We had blackout shades installed in our home, but there was a gap on the sides that allowed quite a bit of sunlight through during naptime and the evenings before the sun set. We discovered this as a solution for the sides of the shades to help with the light. While it doesn't totally block the light on the sides, it does help mitigate it. They don't sit flush on the cellular shades because of the design of the cellular shades. The adhesive is quite strong, so we followed other reviews and didn't peel the entire strip of adhesive when we installed them. They have held up well so far, but we do wish they were a little thinner to fit better on the sides of our shades (since shades are measured to fit to the edges of the window, the thick material of the light blockers doesn't fit between the shade and the window trim).

These light-blocking strips have been a fantastic addition to my kids’ bedroom! They effectively block the light that sneaks in from the sides of the Roman shades, and their sleek design means I didn’t need to add curtains. Plus, they’re super easy to install and remove. Great solution!

I had roller shades professionally installed in a new condo and couldn’t stand the light leakage out the sides. The room was so bright with the shades all the way down. Apparently, Graber doesn’t sell side channels for the expensive shades we purchased and I didn’t even realize it would be a problem until they were installed. I purchased these UChannels from Amazon and had the company that sold us the shades cut them and install them using 2 wood screws. I then had to buy rope caulk and put it behind the channels to block the slivers of light that came through the wood frame and the channels. The room is much darker now and I am happy with the purchase. Before and after pics attached to review.
